Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use the Gemstone Lights Atlanta website, whether you browse with a mouse, a keyboard, a screen reader, voice control or a magnified screen. That includes reading about our lights, requesting a quote, registering a warranty and asking for help with a system you already own.
This website is operated by Gemstone Lights USA Corp. We treat accessibility as part of how pages are designed and built, and we review new pages against it.
The standard we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The guidelines explain how to make web content usable for people with a wide range of disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, and cognitive and learning disabilities.
The site has not had an independent audit yet, so WCAG 2.2 AA is our target rather than a certified result. The known gaps are listed below.
What we have done
- A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page, so keyboard and screen reader users can bypass the menu.
- Menus, accordions, photo filters and dialogs that can be operated with a keyboard and that tell screen readers whether they are open or closed.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images. Purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields with visible labels, and error messages that are announced when they appear and explain how to fix the problem.
- Animations and sliding panels that respect the “reduce motion” setting on your device.
- Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and narrow browser windows.
- Forms that still send when JavaScript is turned off.
Known limitations
We know about these issues and are working on them. If one of them gets in your way, contact us and we will get you the information another way.
- The service-area map is an interactive map built on a third-party library and can be hard to use with a screen reader. Every town on it is also listed as a text link on our Service Areas page.
- Address suggestions in our forms come from an outside service (Photon, run by Komoot). If the suggestions don’t work with your assistive technology, type the address in full; the form works without them.
- The warranty documents are PDFs supplied by Gemstone Lights and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Our warranty page sets out the same terms as regular web text.
- Some links and small labels use our brand cyan, which can fall below the WCAG contrast ratio against a white background. We are reviewing them.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on this site doesn’t work for you, please let us know. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and, if you can, the browser and assistive technology you use. We will reply as soon as we can and, where possible, fix the problem or give you the information in another format.

Compatibility
The site is built with standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript and is designed to work with current versions of the major browsers and screen readers on desktop and mobile. Older browsers may display some pages differently.
How we check
We check pages with automated tools and by hand, using only a keyboard, when they are built and when they change. This statement was prepared on October 8, 2026, and we update it when the site or the known limitations change.
