Flood Lights
Smart LED Flood Lights
for Atlanta Yards
Gemstone Lights® flood lights wash trees, stonework and garden beds in warm white or any color, on the same schedules and app as the rest of your lights.
Light the Yard, Not Only the Roofline
LED flood lights reach the parts of a property a roofline can’t. Aim one up into a white oak or a row of crape myrtles, wash a stone chimney, or graze a brick column by the driveway, and the whole lot gains depth after dark instead of ending at the gutter line.
Gemstone Lights flood lights are smart landscape fixtures made for the Gemstone Lights ecosystem. They join the rest of your system and answer to the same app, down to the color of each individual light, so the front yard and the house can glow as one design.
For placement ideas, see our accent lighting page. For the roofline itself, start with architectural lights or residential track lights.
A Small Fixture With Real Output
Each flood light puts out up to 810 lumens, plenty to accent the outside of a home without making the yard look like a parking lot. It is fully dimmable and pairs red, green and blue with a dedicated warm-white LED, giving you more than 16 million colors to work with.
During installation the wires that connect the fixtures are buried, so they stay out of sight and away from mowers and string trimmers. Each fixture has its own waterproof connection, and the LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours.
- Up to 810 lumens per fixture
- Dimmable from full output to a soft glow
- Individual waterproof connections
- Wiring buried out of the way
What Outdoor Flood Lights Can Light
A few places homeowners put them to work.
Trees
Uplight a specimen tree or a stand of pines so the yard has a back wall at night.
Stone and Brick
Graze a chimney, a column or a brick front to bring out its texture.
Garden Beds
A low wash across shrubs and beds gives the lawn an edge after dark.
Signs and Entrances
Light a monument sign, a gate or the entrance to a business.
Color for the Nights That Call for It
Most evenings a warm white suits stone and foliage best. When the occasion changes, the same fixtures can turn the front trees orange for Halloween, red and green for Christmas or red, white and blue on the Fourth, and they can follow the same pattern as your roofline.
They also make good dusk to dawn outdoor lights. Set a sunset-to-sunrise timer with smart scheduling, point a fixture at a dark side yard or the driveway, and you have a simple layer of security lighting that switches itself on every night.

No. The connecting wires are buried during installation, so you won’t see them and you won’t catch them with the mower or trimmer.

Yes. Sunrise and sunset timers follow the actual times where you live and can take an offset, so the lights come on at dusk and off at dawn year-round. See smart scheduling for more.
